Bourbon and Black

If you follow Zinke Design on FACEBOOK you may have noticed the inspiration clue to today’s blog post; this bourbon, chocolate milkshake! Not only does it sound surprisingly good, but the picture got me thinking outside the box. How perfect is a treat like this for the non-traditional bride; I’m not thinking sweet country wedding, I’m thinking gorgeous, wild mustangs. With a menu of bourbon at the bar and comfort food like these hassleback potatoes I’m already hooked! Add a non-traditional cake with brown chocolate icing, top it with a crown and you’re ready. Set the tone for the occasion with beautiful, black stationary with white calligraphy. With a location like this adorable black painted chapel in Rhode Island you don’t need additional decorations. Carry a bouquet of white anemones and roses, wrapped with black and white ribbon and the bride is ready to walk down the aisle. What non-traditional bride wants to wear an all white gown? Begin with a white, tulle skirt and pair it with a sleek black button up blouse. Sweep your hair off you face and add a black chunky necklace to your neck to finish off your look; stunning.
